Every design detail honors the building’s heritage. At the same time, we’ve infused the interiors with contemporary elegance—giving guests a truly distinctive Amarla experience.

• Our rooms encircle a lush tropical courtyard, which offers a peaceful escape from the city’s vibrant energy. In this same space, you’ll find Kaandela restaurant and our bar. As night falls, the atmosphere shifts, filling the patio with local music, culture, and cuisine. This dynamic setting is perfect for enjoying great food and vibrant rhythms until 11 p.m.
• Whether you’re traveling solo, with a partner, or with your family, Amarla offers something memorable for everyone. You can unwind, connect, or celebrate in a place designed for all moods.
• We used natural materials such as wood, stone, ceramics, and metal to build the hotel. As a result, every corner feels warm, organic, and connected to its environment.
• Throughout the property, we showcase artisan-made furniture and curated decorative elements. You’ll find books, tropical plants, striking photography, traditional crafts, and local sculptures—all selected to reflect Panama’s creative soul.

More than just a hotel, Amarla is a heartfelt expression. Skilled local artisans handcrafted most of our furniture. In addition, our friends from Santa Marta, Colombia contributed a few beautiful pieces.
