AT AMARLA PANAMA

WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF COMMUNITY AND THE IMPORTANCE OF GIVING BACK

Giving Back Amarla Hotel Panama: Community, Wellness & Social Impact

At Giving Back Amarla Hotel Panama, we are committed to supporting our local community through three meaningful initiatives: Ni 1+, the José Luis Nieto Foundation/Virgen del Pilar, and hands-on volunteer programs. We believe true hospitality goes beyond comfort—it’s about creating a positive and lasting impact.

Giving Back Amarla Hotel Panama proudly contributes to Ni 1+, a movement working to end bullying and promote positive social interactions among children and teenagers in Panama. Through creative workshops, talks, and community events, we help foster emotional well-being, empathy, and a sense of inclusion for young people.

We also support the José Luis Nieto Foundation/Virgen del Pilar, which provides critical healthcare for children and young adults affected by complex liver diseases. Our collaboration helps fund essential medical treatments, surgeries, and emotional support for the families involved—turning each donation into a life-changing resource.

In addition to supporting these two impactful initiatives, we welcome guests who wish to contribute directly during their stay. From local school programs to cultural and environmental events, volunteering through Amarla allows you to connect deeper with Panama and leave a meaningful mark.

With every stay, you’re not just enjoying a boutique hotel in Casco Viejo—you’re participating in something bigger. Your presence helps fund programs that promote education, health, and social inclusion across Panama.

Whether you’re traveling for leisure or purpose, we invite you to be part of our mission to give back. Together, we can create a more compassionate world—one guest at a time.

Ni 1+ seeks to promote positive social interactions and contribute to the improvement of emotional and mental well-being. This is achieved through the development of programs, projects, and activities focused on eradicating school and/or cyberbullying in Panama.

Through the José Luis Nieto Foundation, led by the renowned Spanish pianist, we support the Virgen del Pilar Foundation. This non-profit organization is committed to helping babies, children, and young people with liver cancer, biliary atresia, and other complex liver diseases that require transplants, medical treatments, and other surgeries not available in Panama.
